This beautiful vintage silver gelatin photograph is signed and dated in pencil on the front of the mount beneath the image. The artist's studio label bearing the title, numbering and dates in ink on the back of the mount. Handcrafted in the darkroom by the artist in 1993, this is a stellar example of black-and-white film photography.
This print is one of the top selections from the Robert K. Byers Family Collection. Byers was an important figure in the West Coast fine art photography movement, befriending and collaborating with many of the most influential photographers in history, including Ansel Adams and Brett Weston.
