Alexandra DeFurio is a Los Angeles photographer and artist. Her work is motivated by her belief that the experience of beauty is essential to our well-being; finding and cultivating moments of beauty gives romance to life, arouses pleasure and throws open the doors to the heart. She is influenced by the sensuality of the feminine expression, the poetry of light, and our landscape in California. In her backyard studio, Alexandra hand prints cyanoptypes under perpetually sunny skies with red-tailed hawks circling overhead and wildflowers blooming up the hillside.
Alexandra’s photographic work ranges from portraiture, food and lifestyle assignments for select clients, to personal projects developed to create her limited edition print collections.
