"Drebin’s Dreamscapes transport us to the most magical places on earth. We cruise the beaches of the Amalfi Coast, smell and taste downtown San Francisco, gawk at the cityscape of Manhattan and revel in the boulevards of Paris. There is no bucket list destination that David Drebin has not captured with his unerring sense of timing and atmosphere.
Reflections of light, dramatic color and evocative staging invite art collectors to reflect and lose themselves in a fascinating and experiential daydream.
After graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City in 1996, David Drebin rapidly made a name for himself as an internationally renowned photographer creating images of movie stars, sports personalities and various entertainers and subsequently was commissioned for countless high profile advertising campaigns around the world.
In a unique manner, David Drebin’s work combines voyeuristic and psychological viewpoints. He offers the viewer a dramatic insight into emotions and experiences which many of us have doubtlessly felt at some point in our lives.
Drebin’s photographs are epic, dramatic and, above all, cinematic and have been collected around the world. In a unique and opulent way, Drebin stages femme fatales against the gigantic backdrops of cities such as Hong Kong, New York, and Paris. The panorama of the big cities, which, due to their format, are a tribute to cinema, serve as cinematic settings."

Love stories and landscapes are at the foundation of David Drebin's panoramas, portraits, and neon sculptures.
Drebin's monograph Love and Other Stories (2007) features solitary women in urban tableaux — high-rise apartments buildings and terraces, freeway overpasses and hotel rooms. Dressed alternately in bikinis, evening gowns, and negligees, the women appear to be in various stages of a love affair. They pout while lying on couches and ascend grand staircases; their legs emerge from doorways and car doors, their concealed upper bodies assumedly engaged in passionate embraces. Drebin's cityscapes present sweeping views of famous locales such as Jerusalem, Paris, and New York and incorporate both built and natural features. In “San Francisco Dusk” (2010), an illuminated grid of buildings reaches toward the misty blue horizon of the Pacific Ocean.
