About the Item
On March 30, 1972, Jack Robinson photographed artist, actress, fashion designer, author, and socialite Gloria Vanderbilt with her sons Carter Cooper (1965-1988) and Anderson Cooper (b.1967) on the bed at their house in Southampton. Anderson Cooper, seen lying down on the bed with his stuffed animal, would grow up to become a star reporter and anchor for CNN.
