About the Item
'Restructure (New South Wales)' is a color photograph of reflections on and through window glass of an abandoned tea house in rural New South Wales, Australia. The 24 x 36 inch photograph, in red and green with a grid included among the reflections, is printed on high-gloss aluminum, which gives it its own reflective quality. This horizontal aluminum print is unframed, glass-free, and floats .75 inches from the wall with a clean contemporary appearance, while being durable and archival. The image is part of the artist's 'Vantage Point' series, which examines the ambiguity of looking onto, into and beyond reflective surfaces. Edition of 6.
Marie Craig is a contemporary Massachusetts-based photographer, whose work has been shown in New England and beyond. Craig is represented by Fountain Street Gallery in Boston, MA.
