Viky Reynaud Wearing Desses with Portrait, 1953 -- Photographed by Mark Shaw for a November 1953 issue of LIFE, socialite Viky Reynaud, a recent high school graduate, models a draped chiffon gown and jeweled collar by classic Parisian designer Desses. Standing in front of a slightly sinister portrait in Desses' two story apartment, Reynaud's frothy pink gown is contrasted with the oxblood tinted room. Desses' apartment was formerly occupied by Alexandre Gustave Eiffel, the tower builder. Image size is 16" x 16" (for 17" x 22" paper size). All Mark Shaw prints are made to order in limited editions on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper. Each print is Estate stamped on the back and signed and numbered by David Shaw, and accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
