An iconic gelatin silver print on paper titled “Joan Miro, Paloma, Mallorca 1979” by American artist Arnold Newman. Hand signed in pencil on the bottom right and titled bottom right. An enduring photograph of an elderly Miro at 86 years old. Arguably one of the most famous artists in the Modern art movement, he is portrayed looking directly at the viewer with a slight smirk. His hand rests on his chin as if he was in contemplation.
