Vera Valdez and Models at Chanel Salon, 1961 -- This image is a an outtake from the September 1, 1961 issue of LIFE. The article was primarily printed in black and white with caption information describing the vibrant colors. As LIFE put it, these models were wearing "Chanel's variations on her neat, narrow theme. Image size is 32" X 32" (for 36" X 36" paper size). All Mark Shaw prints are made to order in limited editions on Hahnemuhle photo rag paper. Each print is Estate stamped on the back and signed and numbered by David Shaw, and accompanied by a letter of authenticity.
