This transcendent image by art photographer Mitchell Funk's "Blue Buildings, New York 1970" is generations ahead of its time. Executed in 1970, it pushed the boundaries of color photography depicting a mesmerizing sweep of color. It was published in Frontiers of Photography. Time-Life Books, Library of Photography, published 1971.
Signed, dated lower and numbered 2/15 lower right recto, unframed,, other sizes available.
Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum. Brooklyn Museum, show "Images en Couleur" . 1971 Included he was included in the visionary book "Frontiers of Photography" Time Life. Color ! American Photography Transformed. Amon Carter Museum. He has had more than 50 Photography Magazine Covers and has had covers on Newsweek and Life Magazine among others.

Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of color photography. In 1970, he participated in one of the first color photography shows at the Brooklyn Museum titled “Images en Couleur." In 1971, he was included in the visionary books Frontiers of Photography and Color (Life Library of Photography), both published by Time-Life. He has done more than 50 photography magazine covers, including covers for Newsweek and Life.
