This transcendent image by art photographer Mitchell Funk's "Blue Buildings, New York 1970" is generations ahead of its time. Executed in 1970, it pushed the boundaries of color photography depicting a mesmerizing sweep of color. It was published in Frontiers of Photography. Time-Life Books, Library of Photography, published 1971. Signed, dated lower and numbered 2/15 lower right recto, unframed,, other sizes available. Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum. Brooklyn Museum, show "Images en Couleur" . 1971 Included he was included in the visionary book "Frontiers of Photography" Time Life. Color ! American Photography Transformed. Amon Carter Museum. He has had more than 50 Photography Magazine Covers and has had covers on Newsweek and Life Magazine among others.
