This striking piece from her Strangelove series embodies the dissonance that accompanies unrequited love and the ghosts of past relationships, capturing fleeting moments of vulnerability and reflection.
The self-portrait format allows Schneider to step into the role of both subject and narrator, revealing an intimate connection to the image while maintaining a sense of detached observation.
