His is an active member of a small band of experts, proactively ensuring the health of the Tiger population and the many animal and bird species in the Park whilst at the same time the survival of the smaller communities whose livelihoods depend on the same land. Through his lens he has documented generations of families of Tigers, learning behaviours and understanding their role in the wider context of the Forest. His knowledge is vast, not only of big cats but the other flora and fauna that co-exist in this special place. This photograph of edible bean vines in the Ranthambhore Forest beautifully demonstrates Dicky's understanding of nature as a whole; he has a passion for photographing flora, birds and smaller creatures.
