About the Item
ABOUT THIS PIECE: The compositions I make aim to evoke fantastical emotions through the use of vibrant yet familiar color palettes and shapes. They explore dreamlike scenes of a parallel world where there are eternal sunsets, serene moments, and very delicate yet inviting portals to another dimension. Some of the recurring elements seen in my work recently are neon lines in forms of portals or doorways and plant holders, most commonly in familiar shapes like ellipses or parallelograms. The role I want color to play in my work is to evoke emotion, desire, awe, mystery––and sometimes taste. It stimulates your vision and mind by replacing the colors that should normally be there with colors that work in harmony to elevate what you are seeing.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Mischelle Moy is a Brooklyn-based visual artist who uses digital photography and photo-manipulation techniques to depict a vibrant and dreamy yet otherworldly version of the world around her. She holds a BFA in Photography & Video from the School of Visual Arts. Mischelle’s work has been featured by BOOOOOOOM!, Featureshoot, Fubiz, Adobe, and Instagram.
PACKAGING: 30x40" and 40x60" prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed 30x40" prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame. We do not frame the extra large, 40x60" print sizes because they are too large to ship without risking damage.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.
