Chrysler Building Looking Up With Lazy Yellow Moon

2000

About the Item

This upward view of the Chrysler Building and the adjoining former Mobil Oil Building features distinctive New York City landmarks. However, it is not a standard cell phone image taken by a curious passerby of historic architecture on 42nd Street; it's a photograph concerned with documenting landmarks but doing it with precise composition and exact color harmony. It's punctuated with an oversized yellow moon contrasting with the surrounding cool elements. The photograph of a New York icon is as dramatic and visually arresting as the architecture itself. .
