A vast and wide view of one of the world's most densely populated cities shows only one person. A lone runner surrounded by white snow is framed by New York's Central Park South skyline. His body gestures projects confidence and determination. The image is at the same time graphic and moody. The work is signed, numbered 3/15, dated lower right recto - printed later. unframed, Other sizes are available. The fine art photograph is unframed and is printed on fine art Hahnemuhle paper.
Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of " Color Photography" In 1970 he participated in one the first " Color Photography" shows at a major museum. Mitchell Funk is a pioneer of color photography. In 1970, he participated in one of the first color photography shows at the Brooklyn Museum titled “Images en Couleur." In 1971, he was included in the visionary books Frontiers of Photography and Color (Life Library of Photography), both published by Time-Life. He has done more than 50 photography magazine covers, including covers for Newsweek and Life.
