My award-winning Photozaics blend the textures of Van Gogh with the simplicity of Ansel Adams, infused with the healing energy of Bob Ross. This labor-intensive, multi-step process begins with my time spent in nature, capturing landscapes that captivate me—whether it’s a serene brook or a sweeping hill. After modifying the composition, I handcraft the stained-glass frame to match the colors and textures of the photograph. Each shard of glass is carefully tumbled and sanded by hand, then assembled into the frame, with grouting adding depth and texture. This series, which I call Commando, celebrates the seamless union of photography and stained glass—no boundaries, just a fluid dance of mediums.
