The award-winning and renowned photographer, Marc Baptiste offers the viewer a very intimate look at women. Surpassing standard portraiture, his photographs manifest a strong eroticism while incorporating the cinematic power of his other work. His strength is the intelligent and seductive approach to capturing the essence of femininity and beauty.
‘Good morning’ shows a model lying on a freshly made Bed. She is lying on her belly, head propped up on her hands, gazing at the viewer. Her seemingly wet Hair implies, she’s just had a shower, the morning routine is mostly done, apart from getting dressed. The bluish light falling through the window behind her underlines the early hours the scene takes place.
The Models’ gaze is inviting. In line with the cinematic style of other Baptiste pieces, ‘Good Morning’ tells a story with just one quick glance at the scene.
