Carre Otis is a successful Model and Actress of the 80s and 90s. This Nude Portrait of her was taken by Antoine Verglas in 2001 and is part of a Series. The Model is lying on a textured concrete Ledge next to a pool. Her Arms are casually stretched above her head, making her exposed chest the center of the Image. A glass wall to her left and the reflective Water to her right create different surfaces divided by sharp lines. The soft black and white shading creates a graphic and almost abstract look, complementing the Models soft skin.

Antoine Verglas
Antoine Verglas was born in Paris, France. He began his career on the other side of the camera, working as the host on a popular French television show after graduating from France’s prestigious E.S.C School of Business. Verglas then had the idea that would be his entree to the fast-paced world of fashion photography. His photographs have appeared internationally in the editions of Elle, Vogue, GQ, Esquire, Sports Illustrated, just to name a few. Starting with such big names, Verglas has to work hard to keep moving forward in a highly competitive field.
