About the Item
In this series titled ‘Adam and Adam’, I return to the genesis
of love.
The ambivalence of intertwined bodies manifests different
states of love within this couple of men. Love takes on
multiple angles, whether it be tender, passionate, fragile, or
tumultuous.
I question the image, the color, and its power of
representation. This reflection on the image unfolds through
the use of color that I continuously experiment with in a
staged setting.
I play with the viewer’s perception to draw them into
the secrets of my imagination – ‘fictions based on truth’.
I intertwine the real and the fictional, the truth and the
verisimilitude, what is and what exists.
