About the Item

Signed, limited edition print of Oasis by Jill Furmanovsky. Taken at Schipol Airport, Amsterdam in November 1997. Jill Furmanovsky recalls 'I travelled with Oasis from Frankfurt to Amsterdam. This was taken in Schipol Airport in November 1997 while we waited for the luggage. I rounded them up and asked them to sit on the edge of the conveyor belt. I was just focusing on Noel and Liam, when suddenly in the background of my shot I saw a pair of legs sail past. It was Bonehead lying on his back with his legs in the air being a piece of luggage on the now moving conveyor belt. For part two of his comedy act he leapt onto Noel's lap and kissed him. Gotta be quick round that lot and I often miss the shots but that one was a goal.' Signed, titled and numbered by Jill Furmanovsky in pencil and featuring Jill’s official embossed studio stamp. New York to Sydney via LAX, SFO, HNL, & TYO - Photorealistic Painting on Canvas
By Ross Tamlin
Located in Los Angeles, CA
Ross Tamlin's unique photorealistic compositions merge traditional painting methods with modern industrial techniques to create captivating works of art. Using layers of oil and enamel paint, Tamlin creates an illusion of corrugation that adds depth and texture to his pieces. His use of industrial imagery and found objects is a nod to contemporary art, while his bold color palette and incorporation of text is a nod to the Pop Art movement. Tamlin created this one-of-a-kind, vibrant, and colorful painting measuring 54-inches high by 44-inches wide and 1.25 inches deep with oil and enamel paint on canvas. The sides of the canvas are painted in a continuation of the front, eliminating the need for framing. In addition to being signed by the artist on the front, the artwork also comes with a certificate of authenticity issued by the art gallery. The certificate guarantees the authenticity and provenance of the artwork. Free local Los Angeles are delivery. Affordable U.S. and worldwide shipping available. In this artwork, Tamlin reworks the traditional idea of landscape painting by incorporating text and familiar places' names, such as Metropolitan cities, painted in large letters over the colorful photorealistic painted corrugated metal. This photorealistic painting by Ross...
