About the Item
Besides being mysterious, cats are equally beautiful and unmatched in that regard with anyone else in the animal kingdom. Black Cat. Green Eyes was photographed in Palm Beach. The photographer had a staring contest with the feline and was forced to whip out his camera and document the cat's unblinking gaze. Arguably, the result lives up to the moment. The cat's mesmerizing look is shrouded in a moody, muted color scheme accented by two green oval shapes set against a black ground. On some monitors, the eyes look more green than the print. In the first image the eyes are over-saturated and have lost the subtlety. Refer to the images # 4 # 5 # 6 for more accurate eye color. Shot with a Hi-res 36 megapixel camera which yields beautiful detail. Robert Funk is a photographer and New York advertising art director for Print and TV. He was widely published in the 1970's and 1980's. . Signed, dated and numbered 2/15 recto, unframed, other sizes available, printed later -Printed on Hahnemühle Fine Art paper Color will be different on each monitor.
