Peacocks roam freely in the streets around Coconut Grove in Miami. Arguably, they are one of nature's most exquisite works of art. They are adorned with a color scheme of feathers that transcends observed reality. This particular one had an injured leg so I was able to get close without him fleeing and hence this Peacock portrait . Robert Funk is a photographer and New York advertising art director for Print and TV. He was widely published in the 1970's and 1980's. .
