About the Item
Texan politician and former Texas governor, Ann Richards with Dolly Parton taken at the Driskill Hotel, Austin Texas in 1982 by photographer Scott Newton
Photographers notes: We were on a shoot for Ann's first State Treasurer race, and, as I recall, got word that Dolly wanted to meet her. What a scene to witness! These two women, two of my all-time favorite human beings, took such delight in each other.
