Jada Fabrizio
Jada Fabrizio studied photography at the School of Visual Arts, Creative Writing at SUNY New Paltz, The International Center for Photography as well as workshops with acclaimed photographer Mary Ellen Mark. Her photography has been exhibited in Museums and galleries, throughout the New York metro area and the continental USA. Her work appears in multiple publications including Musée Magazine, Split Rock Review, Chaleur Magazine, Pikchur Magazine and High Shelf Press. Ms. Fabrizio’s work makes good use of her experience with many disciplines, taking the form of set building, sculpture, and photography. Jada loves to tell stories and is interested in telling them in all sorts of ways. Her work can be thought of as fictional documentaries. In 2020–21 Jada was awarded a residency at The Eileen S. Kaminsky Family Foundation (ESKFF) and is currently working on a series of staged landscape photographs. Jada is a founding member of Artists.X.Change (AXC) a collective of artists, who came together to provide mutual aid and allies to those artists in need and most impacted, both by Covid-19 and other current events.
