Lively contemporary print of a large, iconic Earth-like globe decorated with patterned, curved lines filled with circles, flat color areas, repetitive lines, and cross-hatching in colors of orange, purple, black, green and beige. The globe sits against a fading horizon line that implies three areas of space: earth, ground, and sky. This is an image that feels both static and movement-ed. At a time when we are so aware of the fragility of the planet we live on, this print allows for a visual engagement that makes us think of the globe as an interconnected system. This is a limited edition (of 30) pigment prints based on an original gouache and oil marker drawing by Amy Cheng. Each print is signed and numbered by the artist. The image size is 21" H x 30" W, the paper size is 27" H x 36" W.
