Andrea Mary Marshall created her series of VAGUE COVERS for her 2011 Solo Exhibition, Toxic Women. This exhibition was a resounding success and received accolades in the New York Times. Andrea created art world themed covers as a special project for our gallery. Each cover is a limited edition, fine art print.
ABOUT THIS ARTIST: Marshall studied fashion at Parsons the New School. Prints of her mixed media works include reimagined lurid Vogue covers under the moniker Vague. Each cover features a historic artistic style from artists such as Klimt, Matisse, Basquiat, Gauguin and Picasso to name a few.
PACKAGING: Unframed prints are shipped in a special fortified tube to guard against bending or damage. Framed prints are shipped via FedEx in a bespoke cardboard box with a fitted interior armature for the frame.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING: We ship unframed prints internationally via DHL. The international shipping cost does not include the tax & duties, which will be the responsibility of the customer. Unfortunately, because of the high shipping cost we do not ship framed prints internationally at this time.

Saturated in color, the nominal subjects gather a haunting and mesmerizing quality, creating a poignant pretext for the making of a formal color photograph. Decisively capturing the traces left by humanity, Pawassar's images are filled with a sense of universal nostalgia and pay homage to the passage of time and the extinguished moment, referencing documentary and street photographers like Henri Cartier-Bresson, Sebastian Salgado...Category
