    This screen-print is a part of series "The Moon, The Sun and so on" which was exhibited in October 2018 at 'Slow Galerie' in Paris. Shakti is the embodiment of feminine energy in Tantric Hinduism. The figure of 'Shakti' has taken a relaxed pose and emanates softly powerful energy. On the left side: The Sanskrit word सूयःर् (sūryaḥ) means "the sun". On the right side: चन्द्रः (candraḥ) means "the moon". The Sanskrit elements were designed in collaboration with Valters Negribs, a doctoral researcher in Oriental Studies at the University of Oxford. AGNESSAGA (Agnese Tauriņa) is an image-maker working across disciplines such as illustration, graphic design and fine art. She is currently working between Riga and Oxford .
