Photographic print on aluminum, copy n.5 of the Natura series produced exclusively by Amar Collezioni Milano
Franco Fontana was born in Modena in 1933 and began taking photographs in 1961.
In 1963 he exhibited at the Third International Biennial of Colour in Vienna; the following year Popular Photography published a portfolio with text by Piero Racanicchi for the first time. He held his first personal exhibitions in 1965 in Turin (Società fotografica Subalpina) and in 1968 in Modena (Galleria della Sala di Cultura). The exhibition in his home town marked a turning point in his research.
His works are held in over fifty museums worldwide, and in other private galleries.
