About the Item
"Flap 4" is a unique monoprint. It is the last print available from this series. The artist's ink drawing made on translucent film was etched into a copper plate using the technique of photogravure, and the plate became a repeatable matrix for the print series. An impression was printed from the plate in black ink and subsequent color gradients were printed over it. The print is titled, signed and dated on the front, lower margin in pencil.
The prints in the "Flap" series are published by and available exclusively from Manneken Press.
