About the Item
Medium: lithograph (after the the sketch). Executed as a sketchbook drawing during the middle 1950's and subsequently made available by Picasso for publication as a lithograph. This impression was printed in Paris in 1959 by Mourlot Freres, and issued in a sketchbook-style portfolio entitled "Carnet de la Californie", published by Editions Cercle d'Art. Size: 16 3/8 x 10 3/8 inches (417 x 263 mm). There is a different Picasso lithograph printed on the back, as issued. These lithographs are now quite scarce. Not signed.
Condition: there is creasing at two corners of the sheet.

Pablo Picasso (1881 – 1973) was a Spanish painter, sculptor, printmaker, ceramicist, stage designer, poet and playwright who is regarded as one of the most influential artists of the 20th century.
