One of the most recognizable and collectible images by Al Held, Kyoto-wa was created by the artist as an original woodcut with lithography in 1985. Hand-signed in pencil, dated and numbered, the artwork measures 27¼ x 40¼ in. (69.4 x 102.2 cm.), unframed, from the edition of 100. Prints from this edition are included in the permanent collections of major museums worldwide including Buffalo’s, Albright-Knox, the Museum of Fine Arts, San Francisco, and Washington, DC’s, National Gallery among others.
