Annabel Pope has beautiful limited edition prints. Annabel Pope grew up on a farm in Norfolk, always exploring the outdoors and wildlife. Pope now works from her own studio in Battersea, London. Annabel Pope first visited Africa as a child and continued to travel and spend time in the continent throughout her formal education. Over the years Annabel’s work has documented visits to several other countries including North and South America, India and the Far East. Her great passion for travel allows her to visualise and witness wildlife in its natural environment and is the inspiration for all the work. Her work attracts interest internationally and she has successfully exhibited in the UK on several occasions which have established her as a leading wildlife artist. Annabel’s passion for her subject matter is captured in her unique style and variety of mediums. Her need to explore the close chemistry and behavioural characteristics of each species, results in her forming a style which relates best to the living soul of the individual animals. Annabel’s skill is her consistent ability to deliver works which on the one hand show remarkable technical quality and visual integrity to the subject; whilst at the same time transferring great character, spirit and energy to the observer. Annabel Pope also contributes her work to charities and exhibits with travel companies to promote holidays worldwide. A few charities include, Countryside Foundation for Education, the Countryside Alliance, Zambian Conservation and Lewa Wildlife Conservancy. A silent auction was held of one her paintings for Tusk Trust, and consequently printed in Sir Tim Ackroyd’s book ‘Ark Two’ In Kenya, 2011, Annabel Pope was asked to be artist in residence at little Governors Camp in the Masai Mara, working with Jonathan Scott and Warren Samuels from the BBC big cat diary series. In 2012, Annabel then travelled finding inspiration again from Kenya, Mongolia, Ladakh (in the Indian Himalaya), and India. In 2013 Annabel took trips to Morocco and Kenya, working with Ralph Lauren stores abroad, private commissions, solo show at Lavenham Hall and numerous group charity show. In 2014 Anabel took a trip to Kenya working with lodges and selling work before settling down into her lovely studio in London.

Publisher: Long Point Gallery, Inc., Provincetown, Massachusetts; Printer: Bruce Porter from Trestle Editions Limited, New York
Rarely to market, this stunning 1988 woodcut was created by Nora Speyer as part of a portfolio produced for sale by Long Point Gallery, an artist's cooperative in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
Superb provenance as it is was acquired from the original Long Point Portfolio. This will be the first time the work will be removed from the portfolio.
It is hand signed and numbered from a very small edition of only 30; it is in fine condition, unframed and never framed, and housed in the original portfolio box, with the original colophon page, which also included works by 11 other artists.
For reference and provenance we have included an image of the colophon page from the complete portfolio.
About Nora Speyer:
The most exciting place to me is where I can communicate with the greatest number of artists. I can't live without some artists around. I'm not saying artists are likable. They can be very objectionable, but they are still my world.
