She studied at the University of Rosario in Argentina, The New School in New York and at Chelsea College of Art in London, where she obtained a Master's degree in Public Art and Design. Weihmüller's work has been widely exhibited not only in her homeland, but also in the United States, where she lived for ten years, and in Europe, where she now lives. Her paintings and sculptures are in private and public collections in the United States, Argentina and Europe. Her studies in Art and Psychology gave her a tangible foundation for her future work. Ivel ran her own gallery in Argentina and exhibited widely in South America before her artistic work took her to New York, where she concentrated on producing her own work. In addition to participating in several art exhibitions, Ivel managed two art galleries in New York and assisted, as part of a team, with the graphic work of the late Salvador Dalí, mainly involved in the production of some of his lithographs. After a ten-year period in New York, Ivel settled in London where she now resides. Ivel has the particular gift of infusing her art with an innocent and joyful style. She transforms settings, whether familiar or exotic, into festivals full of children and excitement. Her vibrant and colorful international life is reflected in her work and attracts the attention of the observer.
