Complete size of diptych: H:80cm x W:80cm x D:0.5 Original Prints by Kate Heiss. Hand made linocut prints featuring a blackcap and a garden in bloom. It is perched amongst the aliums, agapanthus, astrantia, echinacea and poppy blooms. The swifts are darting through the sky and there is a bee busy pollinating the flowers. It is printed in sky blue, teal green, pale pink and vibrant cerise with accents of sunshine yellow, aubergine, pea green and black. A fresh and vibrant Summer print.

Kate Heiss
Kate Heiss is a contemporary printmaker and designer creating limited edition screen prints and linocuts on paper. Heiss studied at the Royal College of Art, graduating with an MA in Textile Design in 1997. She then worked for a wide range of fashion brands before setting up her printmaking studio in 2011. Heiss creates dynamic, vibrant, illustrative prints inspired by her love of birds, flowers and nature of the landscapes of East Anglia. Her work is handmade in her studio in Hertfordshire and regularly exhibited across the UK. Heiss’s artworks and surface pattern designs have also been used by many familiar Stationery and Homeware brands. Her clients include the Museums & Galleries, The ART File, Art Angels, Woodmansterne, Camden Graphics, Athena, Rewrapped and John Lewis. Recently, she completed several private commissions and has had her work featured in a variety of books.
