About the Item
This is a unique ink drawing by Karl Wirsum. Wirsum was a foundational figure in the Chicago Imagist movement and a member of the influential Hairy Who group, whose work has been widely exhibited and collected. His art has been featured in major solo and group exhibitions, including at the Art Institute of Chicago and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art, and is held in the permanent collections of major museums.
