Signed lower right, 'Keiko Minami' (Japanese, 1911-2004) and inscribed, lower left, with number and limitation, '26/50'.
Japanese painter and printmaker, Keiko Minami became well known for her design and creation of UNICEF greeting cards and book illustrations. She was named official artist of the United Nations in 1959 for her print Tree of Peace. Keiko Minami was married to artist Yozo Hamaguchi.
