About the Item

Original " Are You 100% American? Prove it! Buy US government bonds. Third Liberty Loan" vintage poster. The third act specifically allowed the US government to issue $3 billion worth of war bonds at a rate of 4.5% interest for up to 10 years with an individual aggregate limit of $45,000 US Treasury will pay interest every six months. Depicted: Text with an eagle, flanked by burning and smoking guns at the top; bunting (incorporating the interest terms of the loan) is also present at the bottom. Great condition. Linen backed. The outside white border was cleaned and restored during linen backing. Rawls, p. 144. This is an Original Lithograph Vintage Poster; it is not a reproduction.
