Jaguar devorant un Tapis is a beautiful black and white etching with an aquatint intervention, realized in 1941 by a French artist, whose signature is not completely readable.
This contemporary artwork represents a jaguar portrayed during a hunting scene is devouring a tapir. The beauty of this artwork is in the freshness of the line, a contemporary sign of an illustrator.
Signed and dated on plate on higher right corner and titled on plate on lower left margin. It is a First state as it is reported in black ink on lower left margin beyond the marginal line. Signature in black ink on lower right coner beyond the marginal lines of the image.
In excellent conditions: as good as new.
