They are all otherwise strong impressions in very good condition Notes: Provenance: private collection - Aspen, CO. Engraved by English artists Thomas Prattent (Active: 1780-1810) and John Pass (Active: 1783-1832) after drawings by English artist Daniel Dodd (Active: 1752-1780). Comes from Osbaldiston's one volume "The British Sportsman", (1792-1798) (First edition), which consists of 42 engravings. Printed in one color from one copper plate: black. The published complete volume was originally sold by Champante and Whitrow, London, England.

Unidentified watermark in very center of sheet. Comes with its accompanying information sheet. Eagle is the common name for many large birds of prey of the family Accipitridae. Eagles belong to several groups of genera, some of which are closely related. Most of the 60 species of eagle are from Eurasia and Africa.
