About the Item
The poster for Battle Dance by Diego Rivera captures the dynamic energy of his mural style, depicting powerful, muscular indigenous dancers in rhythmic movement that blends ritual and conflict. Using earthy tones like reds and browns with bold lines, Rivera emphasizes strength, vitality, and cultural heritage. The minimal text in bold fonts complements the dramatic imagery, evoking the themes of identity, tradition, and struggle central to Rivera's work.
