This bold, retro 1970 poster from the iconic “UnCola” advertising campaign features a stylized green submarine—shaped like a 7-Up bottle—set against a vivid yellow background. The hand-drawn slogan “Wet Un Wild” appears above in a playful, rounded font. The “Uncola” logo is prominently displayed on the submarine’s hull, surrounded by rising bubbles that emphasize the soda’s refreshing character.
Created by Ed George, an in-house graphic artist at J. Walter Thompson’s Chicago office, this design reflects the psychedelic art style of the late 1960s and early 1970s, with bold colors, simplified shapes, and whimsical imagery.
