About the Item
Eyvind Earle's Garden of Dreams from 1990 is a traditional screen print on paper, 37 x 28" with framed dimensions of 48 x 38.5". Signed 'Eyvind Earle' lower right and numbered 164/205 lower left, from the total deluxe edition on black paper of 253 (there were also 25 APs, 3 PPs, and 20 HCs). An edition of 370 on white paper also exists. Framed in a contemporary black moulding with black mat and gold filet.

Eyvind Earle
Eyvind Earle (1916-2000) was an American artist, author and illustrator. He worked for Disney, designing background illustrations animated films in the 1950s. Earle then pursued his painting career, producing watercolors, oils, sculptures, drawings, scratchboards, and limited-edition serigraphs. His works are in many museums, including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York.
