Imitations sur la Vie portrays two woman in oranges and reds in front of a black and orange backdrop with a
still life on a table. A vivid and haunting image from the suite Le Miracle Quotidien, 1974. Spanish artist Sunor Alvar ( b. 1935 ) started his career off by winning the Alhambra de Granada grant at the age of 18 followed by many more years of awards and exhibitions all over Spain. In 1959 he joined the celebrated School of Paris , a group of up and coming young artists. He was a great success selling as many paintings as he could produce. He eventually started exhibiting regularly all over the world including America. After ten years in Paris Alvar and his wife Rosella Berenguer returned to Spain where they have been ever since. Alvar Sunor Munoz -Ramos 's distinctive style places him along side the great Spanish artists of his day. the condition of this original signed limited edition lithograph is good. There is a slight tear in the bottom left side in the margin not near the image.
