Amusing original colored lithograph with pouchoir details. Fine satiric illustration by the French draftsman Edmé-Jean Pigal (1798-1872) with a marked English humor. Plate 13, from the series, Miroir de Paris, Aubert, Paris. Signed on plate, on lower-right margin. With the printed capture on lower margin: "Un moment, que diable!", under the image representing a poor man on crutchers asking to wait while a stylish man goes ahead of him. Under the capture, some printed notes: "Chez Aubert, galerie vèro dodat // Lith. de Benard, rue de l'Abbey, 4" In very good condition, including passepartout: cm 49 x 34.
