Aphrodite and Anchise is an original artwork realized by the French artist Emile Deschler in 1977.
Hand-signed and dated on the lower right margin.
Original painting on paper.

Emile Deschler (France, 1910 - 1991) was a French painter. In 1930, he was admitted to the National School of Fine Arts of Paris, in the department of Architecture with the professor Rogert Expert. In 1937, he graduated in Architecture, and, in the same year, he obtained the Golden Medal at the International Exposition in Paris. After two years, he obtained a scholarship in Liban and the bursary of the Ministry of National Education. From 1946 to 1976, he devoted himself to architecture and often travelled in North Africa. From 1977, he dedicated himself to painting and drawing again. His drawings are very interesting for the strokes and the realism of his figures; the nudes appear elegant, brilliant, and intense.

Emile Deschler
Emile Deschler was a French painter. In 1930, he was admitted to the National School of Fine Arts of Paris, in the department of Architecture with the professor Rogert Expert. In 1937, Deschler graduated in Architecture, and, in the same year, he obtained the Golden Medal at the International Exposition in Paris.
