About the Item

The main image in this work is a red moon covered by a white handpainted guitar. In the background, a man with a hat is sleeping amongst the grass printed in brown. In the middle ground, there are bamboo stalks. Printed on the farthest back are silhouettes of leaves in green red blue and yellow. The marks drawn with green and brown pencil on the bottom are symbols of marsh grass. The white guitar is surrounded by golden watery lines Signed and dated In graphite pencil en verso ( on the Back) is written: #0892016 ( Artist's stock now), wanderer with red Moon guitar (title), © 2016 Francis X Pavy all rights reserved (copyright notification, date and signature). This is a unique multiple oil relief print is printed on 100% rag paper. This work is unframed. Unique. because it's one of a kind. Although printmaking processes are used there are no multiples made. Only one. This work is made by printing with different relief blocks multiple times,hand painting drawing with colored pencils, and airbrushing. The inks used are oil-based. The work is slightly embossed from being printed multiple times. This is primarily noticeable when viewing the reverse. The 100% rag paper weight is 360gsm. This work is unframed.
