La Cava is an original black and white etching on paper, printed in 1843 as a plate of the print suite "90 Views of the cities and Kindom of Naples".
At the top left margin the printed inscription: "ITALIA"; top center: "Napoli"; top right: "TAV. LIX"; bottom center: "La Cava"; bottom right: "F.co Mochetti inc.".
An incredible testimony of the Kingdom of Naples, and particularly a quarry.
In very good condition, with lifetime impression, full margins, except for minor stains beyond the marginal line, including a white cardboard passepartout, cm 34 x 49.
