The name of this statue is also known as Gerechtigkeitsbrunnen.
The blind scales of justice. The colors in this poster are incredible. It's a beautiful, striking masterpiece - a Swiss travel poster. Svizzera. The blind scales of justice. Image of the Fountain of Justice, a 16th-century fountain in the Gerechtigkeitsgasse in the Old City of Bern. It is the only Bernese fountain to retain all original design elements and it is listed as a cultural heritage of national significance.
(After having stood in place for 443 years, the statue was torn down after midnight on 13 October 1986 by means of a rope and tackle. It was largely destroyed.)
The justice is holding the scales in 1 hand while holding a sword in the other. At the feet of the statue are two heads wearing crowns. Printer: Kummerly - Frey, Bern, Switzerland.
