Amusing original colored lithograph with pouchoir details. Beautiful satiric illustration by the French draftsman Paul Gavarni (alias Guillaume Sulpice Chevalier Gavarni, 1804-1866), representing a young bearded man with tall silk hat and cane in Parisian stylish dress. Plate 34, from the series Les Étudians de Paris, Paris, 1847, Imp. d'Aubert and Cie. With the printed capture on lower margin:"Regarde-moi un peu ce habit-là..... comme c'est ètudié!//Dèicoquancichicoquandard!//Vrai?//Parole!". In good condition, with some visible stains on margins. Including passepartput, dim: cm 49 x 34.
