Beautiful satiric illustration by the French draftsman Paul Gavarni (alias Guillaume Sulpice Chevalier, 1804- 1866), from the series Les Lorettes, Bauger and Cie Edit., Paris, 1841, Imp. d'Aubert and Cie. Signed on plate on lower-right.
With the printed capture: "Dis donc! ce voleur de bric-à-brac qui voulait reprendre mes Souvenirs et mes regrets pour quatre livres dix sous..........vieux Mardochée!".
In good condition, except some visible stains on margins. Including passepartput, dim: cm 49 x 34.
