A couple ice-skating in a winter landscape; a magical image in subdued blues and greens. The artist has redrawn her original sketch onto a grounded zinc plate before placing it in acid which 'bites' the exposed line forming deep grooves to hold ink. The plate is inked and pulled through the etching press for every print in the limited edition, meaning each one is in effect unique! A little watercolour has been added to the figures. Materials: Intaglio etching inks, Somerset Satin paper 300gsm, etching press.
